Avocado Book

For my final project in Color we were asked to pick an object from nature and to do numerous color studies based on.

I chose one of my favorite fruits, the avocado. We began by mixing colors to perfectly replicate the colors of our objects. Next we simplified the colors and simplified the shape to create an identity for an imaginary company. Finally we were asked to create a real world application for our object. I chose to create an avocado pillow. Lying down with your head in the soft pit of an avocado is pure magic.

This book, designed to highlight the palette of an avocado, shows my process through all of these experiments.
